    How does Zenia decide what my insurance will cost?

    The cost of your insurance is based on your business type, what your employees do, and your total payroll. We'll learn all about your business during the quote process.

    Then, using artificial intelligence, we combine that information with Zenith's underwriting knowledge and outside data sources like credit and federal employer identification numbers (FEINs) to calculate the best rate and payment plan for you.

    How do I pay for my policy? Do I have to pay up front?

    There are lots of ways to pay for your insurance. You can pay by:

    •   Electronic or e-check payment (directly drawn from your bank account)
    •   Credit card
    •   Check by mail

    You can pay up front if you want to, but to help you manage cashflow, we also offer flexible payment plans. You can choose the option that works for your business.

    When does my policy start?

    Your policy can start any time in the next 90 days. Policies are issued for one year. If you need a different start date, chat with an advisor.

    What happens after I buy insurance?

    Once you have bought insurance, you will receive a welcome kit. The kit contains all of the forms and notices you need to comply with state laws and the forms you'll need if an employee is ever injured. You can also download these forms from the Zenith Solution Center ®.

    Your business is protected from the date you choose to start your policy. From that day on, you can access all the features and benefits.

    What happens if my employee is injured at work?

    Report injuries as soon as you know about them. You can report online on Zenith's website or call 800-440-5020, and we'll take it from there.
